A rundown of how the stay went, in person or in writing.
Getting out is how mentors and young people get to know each other. Nothing is compulsory.
Swimming, sandcastles and long walks straight off the sand. Five minutes from the house.
Fishing, watching the boats come in, and chips on the walk back.
Bring a board or a bike — or just sit and watch. Nothing is compulsory.
Warm mineral pools nearby. A calm, low-stimulation day out.
A gondola ride with views right across the bay. Big win for most.
Coastal walks, tunnels and old forts to explore at your own pace.
The lighthouse, then the boardwalk down to the rock platform.
Ice cream on the main street, then the wilder surf side.
The reliable rainy-day option. Low pressure, easy wins.
Good practice at ordering, paying and eating out with support close by.
At the house. Blankets, a film under the stars and marshmallows.
The PS5, the massage chair, cooking dinner together. Entirely by choice.
